Director Operations / Value Creation (m/f/d)

As Director Operations / Value Creation, you play a key role in the performance improvement and successful positioning of the portfolio companies we advise, to sustainably increase their value


  • In your role As Director Operations / Value Creation, you are a core member of the shareholder team.
  • You liaise with the C-Level of the respective portfolio company
  • You lead the group-wide project management office, which develops – in alignment with the portfolio management team – comprehensive efficiency and performance improvement programs, as well as redesigns the corporate strategy
  • During up to 18-24 months on site of a portfolio company, you lead the development of various improvement measures through the entire value chain of the business, implement them, drive them on, monitor and report them consequently to the group management and the shareholders
  • In doing so, you have full implementation control

Your profile

  • At least +5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate restructuring / reorganization / PMO from working for a leading management consultancy, for the equity side or similar
  • Proven ability to take on leadership roles in companies and independently manage and lead projects
  • Excellent communication skills, especially stakeholder management in re-alignment situations
  • Good command of analysis toolbox relevant for the preparation of improvement programs
  • Proven track record in the setup and implementation of performance improvement / turnaround concepts
  • Very good academic background; Master, Diploma, PhD, or comparable qualification
  • Deep knowledge in one of the following areas: finance, accounting, management account & controlling and supply chain & manufacturing management, process improvement
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality
  • Excellent analytical skills and result-oriented thinking
  • Fluent in German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
